Semilong Northampton Crime Archive

In ancient times, people were put on public display in the town square for the whole community to see. It was a crime prevention measure so that the towns folk would know who to beware of and as a deterrent for other criminals.

SEMILONG.ORG unfortunately cannot do this legally. So our intention of publishing the names and images of those committing crime in our neighbourhood or from our neighbourhood, is just to report that they have appeared in the media. This record of media reported crime will stay online.

If you click on the images below, it will show you the crime the person was responsible for:

Judge Patrick Eccles QC said Broughton was part of a "ruthless conspiracy" which struck fear into those connected with the building of the laboratory.
Speaking outside the court, prosecution lawyer Paul Harrison said Broughton was not a peaceful protestor, as he had claimed, but someone who took an active part in a fire-bombing campaign.

Judge Richard Bray said: "You were supplying heroin and crack cocaine which are two of the most dangerous drugs being supplied on the streets and [those drugs] are responsible for a great number of deaths in this country."

Judge Peter Morrell described him as a persistent long-term offender who had been committing crimes all of his adult life. He added "It will come as no surprise to someone with your experience of the criminal justice system that you are going to receive a prison sentence today".

Recorder Sam Mainds, told him: "Stop laughing. This is a serious matter, you have an appalling record for a young man and have been very busy for the past 15 months committing serious offences."

Judge Charles Harris said: "This was pointless, brutal, drunken violence in a public place. Alcohol-fuelled pure savagery. "People like you must be deterred from behaving like this, must be punished for behaving like this and the public have to be protected from people who behave like this."
